Today, I started doing my production schedule and script. I managed to finish my script, however it is still a very rough draft.I need to further develop my schedule plan.

Finally finished my production schedule. Adding the final details, of what I expect to happen, and finish in the next few days.Get feedback from others.

Today I realised, how bad my rough draft for my script is. Therefore, I went back and analysed a bunch of short films based on the theme “Illness”, to get a better understanding of characterisation. As my script was lacking of interesting characters and plot. I also learned that I should name all my characters and follow the treatment.Redraft my script.

Today I did my location scouting for my short film. I realised shooting in very public places like Mong Kok is doable. However at the same time, I would need to be quite discrete as I’m filming, so that I don’t disturb onlookers. Plan is to finish my script

I did my 1st actual rough cut today. I believe my plot and setting for my film will be very interesting. I improved and added the intro to my film, and also gave characters names.Plan to finish checking, and finalising my script.

Today I had feedback again. I had to print off my script, and label things to keep or discard. I need to work on the characteristics of my character, especially how they talk.However I created a new plan for my script.Next time write up my second draft.

I finished writing up my second draft of my script. In terms of structure it is much smoother now compared to before.I should be able to start creating my shotlist for next time.

Today I redrafted my Production log. I should be able to do the shot list next time.

Today I sent email to my potential actors. Showing them my schedule and script. I hope to hear back from them soon

Today I started annotating and creating my shot list through my script. I will still need to go through and finalize the sound for my film.

Today I finished doing all the minor per-production papers. E.g risk assessment, crew list, agreement form and so on. However I still worry about finding my actors

Today I started doing my shot list. I Had to design the structure, and label the shot, sound, and scene descriptions. I plan on finishing my shot list next time.

Today I sent an email to the AV media department. I told my film crew I'm planning to shoot ideally next Sunday. However if no drama students responds soon. I plan on using my crew mate "Robin" as the main lead.

I finally finished all my story board today. I had to draw/annotate all my shots from the shot list. Next Time I'm ready to start shooting my production.

Today I realised how problematic it is to film in a subway. I was initially planning to shoot in Mong Kok station. However I was kicked off by the guards so I went to Ya Mei Tei Station. Managed to get the footage I needed which I was kicked out of the station again. I decided to film on a street in Ya Mei Tei, which worked a lot better than Mong Kok, as there was not a lot of people. I realised today how my location scouting was actually completely useless. Next time I expect to start editing my clips and begin production on the 2nd half of the film.

Today I started arranging my clips from my shoot from Sunday. I realized how well most of my shots were planned. Most of my shots are usable. For next time I need to check my sound of the film and start creating my rough draft.

Today is the first day I realised how bad my sound in my film is. This is due to the lack of planning of sound, how I should shoot a certain way in noisy places. Such as the Subway, and the street

I started shooting my last half of the film today in Mong Kok. The setting of the alleyway was very quiet, and not busy perfect for the shoot. Production went really smoothly except I accidentally dropped and broke the handle of the tripod, which I than sent an email to the AV media department to apologize. The other problem my film faces are the continuity issues. For example my actor forgot to bring his costume which he wore on the subway scene. Instead of a white shirt and green shorts. He was wearing a school uniform. This issue could have been avoided if I put less trust on the actor for actually bringing his own costume.

Today I finally accomplished finishing off my rough draft. However I did plan to do a voice over today in the sound recording booth in the media room. However my actor did not show up.
